“Hello! My name is George, and I’m excited to be part of the TIU family. I was born and raised in Texas, so sometimes I might say strange new words or speak with a funny accent. I have worked and studied in places like Japan, Korea, Italy, and France. I really enjoy hearing about places that people have been or interesting experiences they’ve had around the world. I like listening to K-Pop and other popular music from around the world, so please give me suggestions on what to listen to next! The nerdy side of me likes to discuss science and politics, so if you’re every interested in a debate about the American political system, I love to argue (and complain). I also spend a good deal of my free time playing video games, watching movies, and killing time on YouTube. I look forward to meeting you in English Lounge or around the English Plaza!”
